Officially Mandated by the Republic of Sierra Leone
Sierra Bulk Handling Ltd holds the exclusive Offshore Bulk Handling Concession Agreement, a tripartite arrangement between SBH, the Sierra Leone Ports and Harbours Authority, and the Government of the Republic of Sierra Leone.
This landmark agreement was signed on 10th November 2025 and subsequently laid before the House of Parliament on 24th November 2025. On 25th November 2025, the Parliament of Sierra Leone passed the ratification unanimously by collection of voices, under the oversight of the Ministry of Transport and Aviation.
The ratification was certified by the Clerk of Parliament, Mr. Karmoh K. Conteh, granting SBH the legal authority to consolidate and coordinate all offshore bulk handling activities within Sierra Leone's territorial waters.
